Presence in Munich/Germany
Written by Harald Ponce de Leon on September 18, 2005We’ve been organizing our next public appearance the last month and are just about ready to make an official announcement about it.
Björn Negelmann from [n:sight] Market & Technology Research has invited us to showcase the project at this years Internet World Convention in Munich/Germany, and to present two talks regarding concepts of commercial and Open Source e-commerce solutions, and demonstrating how one can be successful at running an online store with osCommerce.
The convention is a two day event that focuses on e-commerce, online marketing, paid content services, frontend and usability issues, and customer relations topics, and is held at the first class Dorint Bayerpost Hotel in München (Munich), Germany, on the 25th and 26th of October 2005.
In addition to the talks being provided we will also be showcasing the osCommerce project at a booth for both days.
From the German team, Raphael Vullriede will be presenting the first talk regarding concepts of commercial and Open Source e-commerce solutions, and Stefan Fritsche will be showcasing how he has used osCommerce to power his Klosterbrauerei Neuzelle GmbH online store.
Henri Schmidhuber (also from the German team) and myself will also be present at the event.
More information regarding the event will be announced soon, in addition to the discount price we are able to provide to our community.
The official site of the congress can be reached here:

On a somewhat related note, the famous Oktoberfest started in München today, and noticed its official online store being powered by osCommerce
